BloomFolio began as a small weekend stall near the Brooklyn waterfront and evolved into an atelier focused on seasonal florals, thoughtful design, and reliable service for events and everyday moments. We work closely with a collective of local growers and regional farms to ensure stems arrive fresh and with a clear provenance. Our studio emphasizes careful handling and packaging to reduce waste and protect delicate stems during transit. Over the years we expanded services to include bespoke weddings, corporate installations, and subscription deliveries for homes and offices. Our team values attentive communication: every client receives a design consultation, visual references, and clear delivery instructions. BloomFolio operates on a foundation of craftsmanship, environmental awareness, and a belief that well-made flowers encourage connection. Our Approach
We design with both the flower and the moment in mind. Each commission begins with a conversation to understand the occasion, space, and color story. From there we select stems that will perform well in the chosen environment while reflecting seasonal availability. Our designers favor combinations that balance form, texture, and longevity. Sustainability is central: we choose growers who practice soil health and responsible cultivation, prefer reusable containers when possible, and reduce packaging waste by using compostable materials or returning containers for reuse. We provide clear care instructions and recommend display positions that extend vase life. For larger events, we offer mock-ups and site visits to ensure scale and proportion are correct. The result is floral work that looks effortless and arrives with practical durability. We believe thoughtful sourcing and skilled technique produce arrangements that remain beautiful beyond the moment they are given.
Craft & Community
Our craft is rooted in community connections. We work with farmers across the Northeast to highlight varietals that might not appear in mass-produced bouquets. BloomFolio partners with local event planners, rental houses, and artisans to create cohesive experiences from tabletop design to ceremony arches. We host seasonal workshops in the studio to teach sustainable arranging techniques and encourage reuse of vessels. These workshops build community and allow participants to learn how to keep stems healthy longer. We also commit a portion of our studio time to charity floristry—for community events, memorials, and neighborhood celebrations.
